OUR STORY

Built on Bruce’s Vision.

Bruce’s vision was never just about cattle, it was about building something lasting for the generations to come.

From the foundations laid along Williams River to the name Boambee Angus itself, his dream was to create an operation grounded in family, hard work and integrity.

Today, that vision still shapes the direction of Boambee.

Carrying the past forward while building confidently toward the future.

Portrait of Bruce Duncan, whose legacy continues through the Boambee Angus stud and the Duncan family's breeding program.

BREEDING ANGUS

Built for the Real World.

Based at East Seaham on the Williams River in the Lower Hunter Valley, Boambee Angus is a family-owned stud and commercial cattle operation focused on breeding practical, profitable Angus cattle.

Led by Stud Manager Jamie Grosser, the program combines a registered Angus herd with a large commercial breeding operation — keeping every breeding decision connected to the conditions and challenges faced by commercial producers.

Each year, Boambee offers a select draft of bulls and females through its annual on-property sale at Sinclair’s Point.

The Philosophy
Behind The Program

The Boambee breeding philosophy remains grounded in producing quality females that perform reliably in practical commercial conditions.

Every decision within the program is guided by long-term thinking, prioritising structural soundness, fertility, temperament and consistency.
